For the first time since season 19, sprint4live didn't maintain the top spot on the rankings for the whole season, credits to NCCC!
Sprint4Live also fell from 7k points to almost the halve of it (3.820 at the end) , but we still ended the season as first!
We realised it was time to refresh the squad, hence the training/buy of Cherkasov/Savthong/Echlinn/Bento/Van de Wijngaert. We still got some fine talents to train, so hopefully we can finally let Figueira/Buso/Caff/Lepage/Nijholt enjoy their retirement
The squads:
- The sprinting squad dissappointed again, with Nijholt (470) and Caff (280) scoring a lot less points than the previous seasons. This season we enforced the climbing squad a lot, so hopefully there's time/money for the sprinting squad this season. The total of 750 points is way too low for the squad, what should be our best part.
- Like already said, the climbing squad was really enforced, with the top riders like Cherkasov, Savthong and Van de Wijngaert. Lepage scored 780 points, some less than before but Cherkasov already brought in 450 points, while Veenhuis and Zomer also scored (80 and 110). making it 1.420 points total for the climbers.
- It's almost a constant fall in prestations for the old Figueira and Buso. 250 and 330 points is not really like their old times. The rest of the squad also dissappointed a bit, Markowski (230, Aelemans (220), Romero (420) and Veneberg with 90 points. The total of 1.540 is therefore not acceptable

Sprinters: 750 points (-5400). 2 results. 1 second places, 1 third place. Both cchieved by Nijholt
Climbers: 1.420 (-130). 6 results. 1 win, 2 second places and 3 third places. Scored by Lepage (1,2,2), Cherkasov (3), Savthong (3) and Zomer (3),
Timetrialers. 1.540 (-938). 4 results. 4 third places. Scored by Aelemans (3), Romero (3), Figueira (3) and Markowski (3).

Wow, what a decease in perfrmance by the sprinter, while they're not that old. But still nr1, even with a bad season
